Revolve Dance Company was established in 2004 by the seven owners of NHPA™ dance studio as a means to present new works in the community with the intentions of motivation, inspiration, and education in and through the art of dance. Revolve currently has 10 members whose talents span a wide range of fields in the art of dance including contemporary, jazz, and tap, as well as talents in teaching, choreography, music editing/arrangement, and costume design/construction. Revolve is especially unique in that each of its members has received and developed the majority, if not all, of his/her dance training and artistic growth at NHPA™ dance studio (owned and operated by Revolve’s founding members) in Spring, Texas.

Under the direction of Amy Cain and Dawn Dippel, both former dancers with Dominic Walsh Dance Theater, Revolve Dance Company has presented full-length concerts in The Woodlands and Houston including collaborations with Ad Deum Dance Company of Houston, the Mayan Kingz of Mexico, and The Wes Veldink Movement of New York. Revolve has also performed in such notable Houston events as Weekend of Texas Contemporary Dance, Dance Houston, Dance of Asian America’s East Meets West, the JCC’s Choreographers X 6 and Triple Focus, Big Range Dance Festival, The Power of Movement, and the Dance Gallery Festival in Texas and New York.

Revolve Dance Company prides itself in being a family of like-minded artists who aspire to create motivation and reflection in their community; to be that which “…washes away from the soul dust of everyday life.” (Pablo Picasso)

*Revolve Dance Company is the proud recipient of the 2007 Dance Houston Award.
